Instonians Spring Ball 2024

Hello from everyone at Instonians RFC.

Further to the success of our last sell out Spring Ball in 2022 which saw All Black legend Sean Fitzpatrick perform a live Haka in front of a crowd of nearly 600 guests, we’re back. Bigger and better!

Exactly 2 years to the day later, our next event will take place on Fri 10th May, 2024 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Shaws Bridge.

Our main guest speaker on the night is none other than Mr Nigel ‘this is not soccer’ Owens MBE!

Nigel is a World Referee of the Year winner and currently holds the world record for the most test matches ever refereed. He is also renowned as one of the best speakers out there and delves into everything from his own personal struggles to discussing reaching the pinnacle of his profession, referring a Rugby World Cup. All with lots of humour and laughs.

The evening will be centred around a sumptuous 3 course meal with wine and will include a bubbly reception with live music, table side entertainment for all, comedian, fund raising events and of course, live DJ and dancing into the wee hours! All hosted by Mr Mark Simpson.

The purpose of this event is once again to help Instonians Rugby Club continue to ‘change lives through rugby’ and raise funds to help grow our Club through the development work we are undertaking in schools from all communities across Belfast.
